On May 16, the 2026 Asian Canoe Slalom Championships came to a close in Kaili, southwest China's Guizhou Province. Amid the rushing rapids, athletes from across Asia battled through gates and waves in a test of speed, precision and technique.

有人说，激流回旋是“与水对话”的运动。高速冲刺、极限转向、精准过门……这项奥运运动，也在贵州的群山与河流之间，展现出独特的魅力。

Some describe canoe slalom as a sport that"speaks with water."High-speed sprints, sharp turns and precise gate navigation — set against the mountains and rivers of Guizhou, this Olympic sport revealed its unique beauty and intensity.
